Under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (collectively, the “CCPA”), California residents have specific rights regarding their personal information, including the right to opt out of the sale and sharing of their personal information. This notice explains those rights and how to exercise them.

WHAT WE MEAN BY “SALE” AND “SHARING”

Under the CCPA, a “sale” means making personal information available to a third party in exchange for monetary or other valuable consideration. “Sharing” means making personal information available to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes, whether or not for monetary consideration.

Skye Marketing, LLC may share personal information with third-party advertising and analytics partners to deliver targeted advertising or to measure the effectiveness of our marketing efforts. Under the CCPA, this activity may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, even though no traditional exchange of money occurs.

YOUR RIGHT TO OPT OUT

If you are a California resident, you have the right to direct us not to sell or share your personal information to third parties (the “Right to Opt Out”). Once you exercise this right, we will not sell or share your personal information unless you later provide express authorization to do so.

We will process your opt-out request within 15 business days of receiving it. You do not need to create an account with us to exercise this right.

 

AUTHORIZED AGENTS

You may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. To do so, you must provide the agent with written, signed permission to act on your behalf, and the agent must submit proof of that authorization when making the request. We may also require you to verify your

own identity directly with us before we process the agent’s request, unless the agent holds a valid power of attorney under California Probate Code sections 4000–4465.

 

NON-DISCRIMINATION

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your opt-out rights. This means we will not deny you goods or services, charge you different prices, provide a different level or quality of service, or suggest that you will receive a different price or level of service as a result of opting out.
